Family Papers Section

My mom had an idea for writing and sharing our memories of Grandpa on the site. I thought there might be other writing that people would want to see so I expanded on that a little bit. There is a new section on the menu called Family Papers. Within that section is a category called Dad where my mom's first article is. As you can see, they don't need to be long, but as little or as much as you wish to share. I can add other categories as needed. If you wish to write about the farm, wharf, family life now / then, etc. just let me know and I'll add the category. Instructions follow.... Discuss this article on the forums. (0 posts) ***You may wish to write it in Word or something first and just 'copy and paste' it into the site because if you sit too long thinking what to write, the site will log you out and you'll have to start over.*** To add an article to this section, you will need to use the link at the bottom of the menu under Your Details. Click on Submit Family Paper and you will see a page with some fields. You only need be concerned with Title, Category, Intro Text, and Main Text. The Intro Text is where you can write everything if you have only a paragraph or two. If you have a page or more, you can put the majority in Main Text. The button to save your paper is located to the right of the Title field. Please note that you will not see your paper right away. I will automatically get an email telling me someone has added a paper and I will log in to approve it. Hope to see some contributions from the family!
